Putto is a 90 cm round bas-relief, completely white, where light and shadow create depth and relief. The figure of the angel, nude with open wings, appears suspended in space while playing, conveying harmony and movement. The Smussato technique brings the material to life: every palette knife line, every curve of the bas-relief, builds movement, depth, and breath. Natural or artificial light enhances the folds and wings, providing three-dimensionality and poetic suggestion.
