During the event Art and Science in the Artist’s Atelier, with Dr. Claudio Novali, cardiovascular surgeon and President of TiToccoToccati, the relationship between art, science and social commitment was also explored.

In this context, Michela Fabeni chose to support the humanitarian project promoted by the association together with a community from Cuneo, in support of Casa do Menor, founded by Father Renato Chiera.

The project is dedicated to the creation of the Ambulatorio della Speranza in Bambadinca, in the Diocese of Bafatà, Guinea-Bissau.

The initiative focuses on the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and the protection of the health of mothers and children, through the creation of a healthcare facility dedicated to the local community.

In support of the project, Michela Fabeni has dedicated one of her artworks to a charity auction, with the proceeds going towards the humanitarian initiative.

Michela Fabeni and the Ambulatorio della Speranza project by Casa do Menor in Guinea-Bissau: art, solidarity and social commitment.

This gesture reflects her conception of art as a means of engaging with society, transforming the expressive force of an artwork into a concrete contribution.

Art, matter and solidarity can meet and give form to a concrete gesture. www.michelafabeniart.com
