This angel is seated on the Milky Way galaxy.
It does not rule, it does not fly: it guards a million mysteries of the universe, watching over what does not ask to be explained.
Its tall, stretched wings open a sacred space.
The stars surrounding it are not decoration, but signs of what exists and cannot be revealed. The bas-relief is born entirely white, raw, entrusted to light and shadow.
Solids and voids reveal themselves without color, allowing the material to speak on its own. It is in this space that the invisible takes form, where soul and matter touch.
The gesture is direct, made with bare hands.

Each smoothing is listening, each relief is a passage.
I do not force: I let the form emerge and transform. My diptychs and triptychs are born from a need for continuity in space.
They do not close within the canvas, but dialogue with one another to expand beyond, as if the form were seeking infinity, as if the work wished to keep breathing.
This angel is not crossed by sight alone. It is crossed in silence.
