Protection is an open breath. A large horizontal bas-relief of angel wings extending through space like a silent embrace, a luminous threshold that shelters and welcomes.The ivory surface becomes a vibrating field, crossed by soft yet profound reliefs.
Gold defines the central structure, the upper and lower edges of the wings, creating a luminous architecture that supports the work. Subtle golden accents appear on the sides as traces of energy, never excessive, always essential.
The wings are a universal symbol of protection, elevation and transition. They belong to no figure, but to a presence.They form a field of force, a permeable boundary between what wounds and what protects.
The Smussato technique reveals the primal gesture.
Matter is shaped with a palette knife and bare hands, through a physical and meditative process. Every movement is listening, every relief balances fullness and emptiness, light and shadow. The purity of the background accompanies the surface, transforming it into living skin, ready to engage with the viewer.
Protection does not impose itself; it surrounds. A universal message of care, presence and silent strength. An invitation to recognize the light that sustains, even when unseen.
