Among her most recent activities, Michela Fabeni is engaged in the photographic development of an editorial project dedicated to the visual documentation of a historical and cultural context in Rome.
The work concerns the catalogue by author and scholar Rossana Cosci, known for her essays on the history of the Ordine dei Padri Scolopi and curator of exhibitions at the Nazareno.
The project is supported by the editorial expertise of Maurizio Della Nave and by the vision of the publishing house Opzioni Editions Projects, a reality recognized for its rigorous care in content development and for the sensitivity with which it enhances cultural research, historical heritage, and visual quality, confirming an editorial tradition capable of combining authority, attention to detail, and openness to dialogue between art and knowledge.

For this publication, Michela Fabeni produced the entire photographic body of images intended for the book’s illustrations, contributing to the construction of a coherent and accurate visual documentation.
The photographic intervention is grounded in
a careful attention to the relationship between light, pictorial surfaces, architecture, and historical stratification. Working within culturally significant environments requires technical precision, perceptual sensitivity, and conservation awareness — elements that guide the process of observation and image restitution.
This commitment forms part of the artist’s multidisciplinary path, expanding her visual research and reaffirming her interest in the dialogue between art, memory, and heritage. Further updates will be shared upon the official release of the publication.
