On January 15, 2026, at 5:00 pm, the Chapel of the Nazareno, exceptionally opened for the occasion, hosted an event of high cultural and artistic significance.
Prince Alfio Borghese, writer, journalist and international art critic, presented his latest book dedicated to Giovanni Colacicchi, painter, intellectual and key figure of twentieth-century Italian art.
My artworks framed the presentation, silent presences that do not accompany, but rather guard and hold.
Matter, gesture, and light: my personal smussato technique works the surfaces with a spatula, combining bare hands and gold, conveying love and joy while dialoguing with angels, circles, symbols, rebirths, and universal messages.
The solo exhibition extended throughout the Palace, along corridors and rooms, transforming the venue into a widespread artistic journey embracing Roma Eterna, Angels, Symbols, Rebirths, Circles of Life and Universal Messages.
The exhibition is open until January 22, 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00 am, excluding Saturday and Sunday, offering visitors an immersive experience among art, symbols, and light.
Following the book presentation, Prince Alfio Borghese offered a critical reflection on Michela Fabeni’s solo exhibition, acknowledging the symbolic strength, coherence, and depth of her artistic language.
The event curated by Dr Rossana Cosci, art curator was made possible thanks to the hospitality of the Piarist Fathers and the Collegio Nazareno Foundation, at their historic venue in Via Sant’Andrea delle Fratte 15, Rome.
An encounter where art, word, and memory shared the same space, generating a profound dialogue between the past and contemporary vision.
