PRESS RELEASE
Rome, February 23, 2026 – The Circolo delle Vittorie in Rome hosted a highly significant cultural event, combining art, literature, and contemporary debate. The hall was filled to capacity, with an enthusiastic audience embracing every detail of the occasion.

Michela Fabeni presented ten works dedicated to the theme of womanhood: artistic nudes, vertical figures, and essential presences that emerge from the material and interact with light and gold. The predominantly vertical canvases create a coherent visual journey, with solitary figures, pairs, or trios, maintaining strong formal and symbolic identities. Gold crosses the surfaces as both a structural and conceptual element, while the work Rebirth, a round white canvas with a bas-relief, introduces a circular dimension of synthesis and continuity.
The works were introduced by Antonio Fugazzotto, President of Circolo delle Vittorie, who provided a critical reading of Michela Fabeni’s personal technique, the Smussato, emphasizing that every aspect of the work – from the materials to organic mixtures, from gesture to spatula and bare hands – was entirely created by the artist. Fugazzotto highlighted how Michela’s style develops a living plasticity, capable of embodying archetypes of universal forces and light, making each figure unique and pulsating.

The event was also attended by distinguished guests, including internationally renowned art critics such as Prince Alfio Borghese, journalist, writer, and art critic, and Pippo Franco, actor and comedian also recognized for his work as an art critic, alongside, enhancing the prestige and quality of the gathering. In addition, distinguished guests from the cultural and institutional sphere attended the event, Edy Palazzi, Rossana Cosci, Maria Pia Dell'Utri, Giorgio Assumma, Saverio Montingelli, Ombretta Ceccarelli and many others.

The exhibition accompanied the presentation of the book by Luca Palamara and Alessandro Sallusti, with the participation of the publisher Francesco Giubilei and the constitutionalist Giovanni Guzzetta, literary readings by Daniela D'Urso, creating an engaging dialogue between art, culture, and the audience. The hall became a living space of reflection and discussion, with active participation and curiosity for the works, the material, the light, and the symbolic dimension.

The Circolo delle Vittorie confirmed its role as a key reference point for culture and art in Rome, hosting a nationally significant event connected to RAI broadcasting.
