Michela Fabeni is an Italian contemporary artist, also known as the Third Millennium Artist, born in Rome.
Her research arises from an inner urgency to transform matter into language, shaping an expressive universe where light, gesture, and energy interact in a deep and authentic dialogue.
Since childhood, creativity and imagination have been essential parts of her life, gradually evolving into an artistic practice that explores interiority, symbolism, and perception of the world.
Her art does not stem from a descriptive intention, but from deep listening, where personal experience translates into three-dimensional forms speaking of emotion, femininity, metamorphosis, and infinity.
The core of her production is bas-relief on canvas, realized through the Smussato technique she developed.
By modeling organic materials with spatulas and bare hands, Michela shapes living surfaces that engage with light and shadow, fullness and emptiness, visible and invisible.
Her works are not merely visual objects: they are sensory experiences designed also to be perceived through touch, where matter seems to emerge and breathe within space.
Her original and recognizable style makes every creation unique and certified in its singularity. Her works appear in exhibitions, fairs, and awards across Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and Asia, appreciated by collectors, design professionals, and contemporary art enthusiasts for their symbolic and transformative strength. In just a few years, her production has surpassed three hundred works, demonstrating a constant and evolving creative energy.
Rooted in artistic tradition yet projected toward the future, her research renews the language of bas-relief, bringing it into contemporaneity through material textures, universal symbols, and an intense relationship between human gesture and cosmic dimension.
Each exhibition becomes a chapter of her global language — a dialogue among cultures, spaces, and sensibilities. Michela Fabeni remains a recognizable voice in international contemporary art, continuing to build bridges between sensory experience, inner vision, and presence in the world through matter, light, and gesture.
Here matter is not only seen — it is encountered, heard, and crossed through. www.michelafabeniart.com . Every message is a thread connecting visions and presences — thank you for entering my universe. michelafabeni@libero.it
