A part of my journey began long before my bas-reliefs, long before the matter. It was born from writing.
From childhood until my twenties, I filled diaries called smemorande. The name might sound ironic, as if they were forgetful notebooks, incapable of keeping memories. And yet, they contained all my emotional memory, my inner life, my emotions, dreams, and fears. I wrote with complete honesty. Even at school, those smemorande passed from hand to hand: my intimacy was already shared, and I had no fear.
What mattered was the truth of the act, not the gaze of those who read.

Around the age of thirty, I reread everything. Those pages overwhelmed me, bringing an emotional intensity so strong it caused anxiety. I decided to let them go, keeping only a few pages about love — precious fragments I did not want to lose.
Then came a more complex period, a dark moment while I was rediscovering myself. During that time, I kept writing, needing to free my mind. Writing allowed me to reconnect with my identity, to understand and navigate my emotions.
When I accepted and overcame that phase, my art emerged: the bas-reliefs, the material language, the matter shaped by my bare hands and palette knife. Writing remained alongside, accompanying the emotions of the works and transforming together with them. Words born from darkness became illuminated, turning into living poetry walking alongside the art.
Beautiful words returned through this process of rebirth, and they became light.

The poems I present today are born from this boundless journey between soul and living matter.
Some texts precede the works, like emotional roots, inner migrations made of memories and perceptions. Others walk alongside the bas-reliefs, amplifying their breath and completing the creation.
Writing and creation are not separate paths. They are the same movement. The same transformation. A continuous flow between what I feel, what I remember, and what takes shape.
Some poems are already part of my book Fragments: Journey Without Borders, within Soul and Living Matter, but I

continue to write online — on my blog and social media — sharing the thoughts and emotions that accompany my creative journey, completing and giving voice to my bas-reliefs and to what inspires them.
My journey is an open book for anyone who reads, observes, listens, and continues to migrate alongside me.
