Contemporary artist Michela Fabeni announces her participation in the International Marian Prize P.A.M..I 2026 promoted by the Pontificia Academia Mariana Internationalis, a cultural and spiritual initiative involving artists from across the world invited to interpret, through artistic creation, the symbolic and universal depth of the Marian dimension.

For this occasion, Michela Fabeni presents the artwork Sacred Immaculate Heart of Mary, a bas-relief sculpture created on canvas that emerged from a deeply meditative and spiritual creative process.

The work developed through a direct and sensory relationship with matter, using organic materials shaped with bare hands and palette knife according to her personal technique, establishing a continuous dialogue between gesture, interiority, and transformation.

The application of 24-carat gold leaf introduces a luminous and symbolic dimension, evoking transcendence and sacred presence. Gold functions as both structural and spiritual element, amplifying the relationship between material surface and light refraction, transforming the sculpture into a contemplative space.

The creation of the work was accompanied by an inner state of reflection in which artistic practice became an act of meditation. The sculptural gesture unfolded as a process of listening and presence, allowing matter to receive and express a lived spiritual dimension rather than merely represent it.

Through this participation, Michela Fabeni contributes to the international cultural dialogue fostered by the prize, which seeks to highlight artistic expressions capable of connecting contemporary sensitivity, creative research, and spiritual reflection on a global scale.

This step represents a further expansion of her artistic path — strengthening the relationship between body, matter, and vision — and consolidating her international presence through the integration of inner experience and contemporary sculptural language.
