The bas-relief is born from a direct physical gesture: the palette knife cuts, lifts, and shapes the surface until it becomes a living field of energy and reflections.

The central void is not absence, but origin. It is the point where light gathers and reveals itself. Gold leaf covers the entire work, enhancing depth, vibration, and tactile perception.

At the heart of the composition, an unexpected presence seems to emerge — almost a face appearing from the material itself, as if generated by light.

The work symbolically recalls a primordial sun: not painted, but formed through matter, relief, and layered texture.
