On April 21, 2026, Rome celebrates 2779 years since its foundation, recalling the original gesture that, according to tradition, marked the beginning of its history on the Palatine Hill.
Rome is a universal heritage, a symbol of continuity between past and present. A city that moves through centuries preserving its identity, capable of generating culture, vision, and timeless beauty.
Eternal Rome collection, contemporary bas-reliefs on round canvas, size 90 cm, shaped by bare hands and palette knife, in Smussato technique, in gold leaf, fits into this timeless dialogue, translating the historical and symbolic stratification of the city into material form. Each artwork explores the relationship between memory and transformation, permanence and change.
A tribute to Rome as a living place, constantly evolving, and still a global cultural and artistic reference.
On the occasion of Rome’s birthday, Michela Fabeni's Atelier is open all day without appointment for the viewing of the Roma Eterna collection and my current works, upon request via email michelafabeni@libero.it or direct message (DM) @michelafabeniart.
