There are places where nature is not only observed, but felt vibrating under the skin.

For me, creating is an act of listening: every gesture arises from a silent dialogue with earth, water, fire, and air.

My artworks, bas-reliefs shaped with palette knife and bare hands, created using my personal Smussato technique, are the result of this encounter. The matter I touch is not neutral: it carries memories, flows, and energies that guide my hand. Every relief becomes a fragment of nature transformed into form, light, and depth.

When I create, I feel the currents of the wind, the density of the earth, the trail of water, and the warmth of fire passing through my hands. This is where magic is born: forms that breathe, that tell stories without words, connecting the natural universe with my artistic vision.

My creatures, circles, female figures, symbols, and organic patterns are not just images to look at: they are presences to feel, to traverse, to live. Nature is voice, matter, and breath, and I let it flow through me every time I shape, smooth, and refine.

Every artwork is a bridge between what I feel and what becomes visible, between the invisible that flows through nature and the light I can imprint on the canvas. It is an invitation to perceive, to slow down, to feel part of a greater cycle.

If you feel that these artworks speak to you as well,

if you wish to explore my journey further or get closer to the bas-reliefs,

you can write to me directly. michelafabeni@libero.it

It will be a pleasure to share visions, matter, and possibilities of connection.

Thank you for being part of this journey, between Nature and Art.
