The Michela Fabeni Art Gallery is not simply an exhibition space. It is a living place, a space to be crossed, a point of encounter between matter, gesture and vision.
I call it the Portal of Light, because it does not merely preserve artworks, but passages.
Inner passages. Sensory journeys. Subtle thresholds between what is visible and what vibrates beneath the surface.
This physical space, located in Rome and accessible by private appointment, hosts the complete core of my artistic research: bas-reliefs on canvas, material works born from my personal Smussato technique, surfaces shaped with bare hands where light and shadow become a language.
Each artwork presented here is a spark of my inner world. A fragment that originates in the body, crosses matter, and opens itself to the gaze of those who enter with presence.
The Portal of Light is also a place of encounter and listening. Michela Fabeni Art Gallery – a Portal of Light of Contemporary Art featuring my bas-reliefs.
