The 12 zodiac signs encompass all the facets of human nature: strength and fragility, light and shadow, courage and introspection. Each sign is a fragment of the sky, a symbol of energy crossing time and space.
In this series, I gather them together to tell the unity in diversity, where every curve and relief becomes a universal language. The material shaped with bare hands, the play of light and shadow, transforms each bas-relief into a silent message that speaks directly to the soul.
The 12 zodiac signs take shape in their raw version, entirely white and cream, shaped with my personal Smussato technique.
Each bas-relief captures light, shadow, and depth: the material in its pure form becomes language. Every relief is a fragment of universal energy, a dialogue between sky and human, between gesture and consciousness.
This series invites contact with the essence of the signs, their rhythm, and the flow that passes through body, matter, and mind. Each sign becomes a portal, a universal message telling of unity in diversity and the infinite facets of being.
Each sign interacts with the others in a universal message, an invitation to recognize the complexity of being, to listen to your inner rhythm, and to connect with the light that crosses every life.
