This diptych is born as an act of union. Two twin canvases, raw, material, essential. At the center, divided yet recomposed by the viewer’s gaze, the planet emerges: vast, living, fragile.
Around it, a man and a woman hold hands, facing each other, like a primordial circle embracing the world. There is no dominance, no distance. There is relationship.
The planet is not a backdrop nor a possession: it is the center of a silent pact between humanity and Earth. The bas-relief remains intentionally raw, allowing the material to speak without filters.
The surface preserves the mark, the tension, the truth of the gesture. The figures do not grip the world with force; they surround it with presence. Joined hands become a bridge, a promise, a shared responsibility.
This diptych is a declaration of love for the environment. A message of balance, cooperation, and possible futures. Man and woman are not individuals, but archetypes: humanity choosing to protect the source of its own existence.
I entrust this work to time and to the web so it may leave a lasting trace. A sign reminding us that saving the planet is not an abstract idea, but a daily, collective, human gesture. Holding hands around the Earth is the first act of care.
