An event that shows how urban sustainability and the relationship with matter are now at the center of the cultural and civic debate.

I had the honor of participating in the event Urban Mining – Miniere Urbane by DESART2, Garden Service Headquarters of Villa Borghese, behind the Museo Carlo Bilotti.

A moment of reflection dedicated to sustainability, urban regeneration and the deep relationship between human beings and the material world.

The concept of urban mining is based on the idea that cities themselves are reservoirs of resources: metals, objects, materials and components that can be recovered, transformed and reintroduced into a circular economy system.

This vision represents one of the most important strategies today to reduce the extraction of raw materials and promote a more sustainable development model.

Participating in this event was unexpected gift: I fund myself there reciting my poetic texts, letting the words speak for themselves.

Heartfelt thanks the organizers for creating such a vibrant and welcoming space, and to all the artists and guests present, for making this moment even more special.

During the event I shared several poetic texts from my project Fragments, Journey without borders inside the soul and living matter.

These texts were born as words, but over time they became sound, rhythm and breath. Some of them have also been transformed into music as part of my artistic project Frammenti, where visual art, living matter, poetry and sound vibration meet.

The poems I presented have a circular structure: phrases returning, images repeating, almost like inner mantras that cross matter and transform it.

Taking part in this event meant entering into dialogue with a theme that is deeply connected to my artistic research: the relationship with matter.

In this dialogue between art, sustainability and awareness, the city becomes a living organism and matter returns to what it has always been: origin, transformation and possibility.

Matter always remembers what we have forgotten. Every transformation begins with deep listening.

Like the soul, the city holds fragments ready to be reborn. And within living matter the possibility of a new beginning continues to pulse.

In my art, matter is never just a support. It is presence, memory and energy.

Through my hand-crafted bas-reliefs, matter becomes a landscape to explore, a living surface where gesture leaves its trace and light reveals hidden depths.

Through my creative journey I continue to explore this deep connection between matter, gesture and consciousness, where every bas-relief becomes an encounter between inner energy and visible form.
