Michela Fabeni Art Gallery |Phoenix Woman – Raw Textured Bas-Relief | Palette Knife | Rebirth and Lightness

Phoenix Woman is a ballerina dancing lightly, suspended between desire and rebirth.

Her tutu, like a dandelion, is feathered and seems to explode into petals scattering in the air, like whispered wishes carried by the wind.

With arms open and body bending gracefully, this creature, half woman and half phoenix, comes to life from the material, balancing strength and delicacy.

Her hands and feet, reminiscent of bird claws, weave through the canvas in a movement that seems to lift her, ready to take flight.

A being that exists between the fragility of human form and the power of her animal nature, ready to rise again.

The organic material worked with a palette knife, with decisive strokes, becomes visible and alive, following the movement of the body, creating raised forms that emerge from the canvas as if ready to soar.

The Phoenix Woman is this: a being that regenerates, shaped by fire and wind, ready to be reborn, always.

Every time the material whispers its truth to me, I never know what will arise.

Yet what emerges is always a bit of me and a bit of the universe flowing through me.
