Creating with Matter and Light: The Flow of My Bas-Reliefs

Every one of my works is born from a deep synergy with the elements of the universe. My process is spontaneous, following the flow: every gesture, every layer is energy, emotion, and movement. The palette knife and my bare hands shape the matter, giving form to lines and volumes that gradually emerge.

The creation begins with the preparation of the compound, carefully fortified, and continues on the canvas with my Smussato technique, refining roughness and harmonizing forms. The natural elements – sun, wind, air – collaborate with me: I, the artwork, and the universe become a single entity.

I adore raw materials, earth and water, and their vital energy. Sometimes I add precious metals to give my interpretation, other times I leave the work raw, authentic, and alive. Each bas-relief becomes a fragment of the universe, a dialogue between matter, energy, light, and movement, where spontaneity, emotion, and the natural flow guide creation.

Every piece is an encounter between me and the world, an act of listening and presence, a gesture that leaves a trace of energy and beauty. It is my vision, my dialogue with the universe, my interpretation of life and matter.
