On a white round canvas, raw and essential, a woman sits in the lotus position.
Her body is suspended in silent balance, immersed in a timeless space where matter becomes listening and light reveals.
White is not emptiness: it is concentration. It is the field in which gesture turns into meditation and energy begins to rise, from the womb to the head, following an ancient and universal inner path.
Seven chakras cross the body as points of light. Each one is marked by a stone, a color, an essential symbol. They are not decorations, but thresholds: fragments of the sacred indicating passages of awareness, states of being, inner vibrations.
The material, shaped in bas-relief, dialogues with light and receives its variations. Every thickness, every incision, is an act of revelation. The surface of the canvas becomes skin, the gesture becomes breath.
The Woman in Lotus is not a portrait, but an archetypal presence.
She is a bridge between the visible and the invisible, between what can be touched and what can only be felt.
A body that does not display, but holds. A still center from which everything radiates.
In this work, the sacred is not declared: it emerges. It is an inner, intimate sacredness that manifests itself in the silence of form and in the energy that flows through it.
