Zodiac Collection: twelve signs, twelve fragments of me

It was born from my desire to explore and express my inner universe through art. I created all 12 zodiac signs in 100 x 70 cm bas-relief, starting from raw forms, then transforming them with a black background and golden stars. Each figure is feminine, incarnate, and emblematic, a sign that tells a facet of myself, a fragment of my inner universe, with an almost ancestral aura spanning space and time.

These signs are not merely astrological symbols: they are parts of me, reflections of my energy, my desires, my emotions, and my visions. Each feminine figure represents a quality, a strength, or a tension, together forming a mosaic of my artistic and spiritual identity.

Smussato Technique: I round, shape, and reveal

Each sign is made with my smussato technique, where I smooth asperities and surfaces, creating softness and depth, allowing light to play with gold and silver. Gold leaf embraces the figures, silver leaf defines the zodiac sign, while the symbol of each sign harmoniously merges with the starry background, creating a living, pulsating bas-relief full of symbolism.

A journey between symbol, femininity, and ancestral memory

Each sign is not only a zodiac symbol: it is a fragment of me, a visual story uniting matter and soul, strength and delicacy, fullness and emptiness. The incarnate figures evoke life and feminine essence, ancestral emblems inviting the observer to connect with my artistic vision.
