Resilience, bas-relief on canvas (65 x 90 cm) recalls elements of Expressionism through the centrality of human emotions and the intensity of its visual language.

The material treatment and transformation evoke Art Brut, and the abstract and symbolic forms, together with the use of color, also recall European Informal Art of the mid-20th century, due to the use of innovative materials and the focus on matter as a bearer of meaning.

The work connects to an artistic tradition that explores the dialogue between form and content, between the visible and the invisible, where matter is not just a medium but becomes the protagonist itself, a language through which the artist communicates deep and universal emotions.

The work tells of human fragility emerging from chaos, wrapped in metallic reflections, symbolizing hope and rebirth.

Light and shadow merge, transforming pain into a light that shines.

Every fold of the material is a metaphor for the human condition: bent but never broken, luminous despite the shadows.

Resilience invites us to transform pain into eternal beauty and to recognize the light that is born from struggle.

A visual embrace celebrating the inner strength hidden within fragility, reminding us that every wound can become a luminous scar.
